The Diginomics Ethereum Certification™ is a timed examination on the functionality of the ethereum network and tested the students on advanced capabilities for programming smart contracts using the Solidity language.

As our recent student cohorts have indicated, this course is especially popular among financial services and technical backgrounds. Blockchain technology is explained and demonstrated with how useful it can be fore securing data and storing records.

The total course length is estimated to be 25 – 30 hours of study. Examinations follow each module with a final exam at the conclusion of the course.

    The Ethereum Programming Course is specifically set up to teach newcomers a fundamental understanding of Ethereum and Solidity. It is taught in a way so that even people who have never programmed before can grasp the concept quick and easy. These tutorials are presented in a step-by-step manner with written notes that help reduce the steep learning curve that many non-programmers encounter.

    By taking this course I was able to better understand Ethereum and Solidity, as a whole, which made it much easier to continue my studies in this field.

    I don’t normally leave a rating for anything, but felt this course was too good. I really liked how it went into detail explaining blockchain and solidity concepts. I had never used a “uint” before, and liked how it was described it detail to help me understand why someone would use it over a regular “int” variable for example. I wish more programming courses and tutorials went into this much detail. While the course is a little outdated and could have more substance after learning solidity with regard to web development, and creating a dApp, I felt an introduction into that was good enough. There are so many different javascript frameworks people use today, such as Angular, React, Vue, and others, and so many opinions on what is best, that this wasn’t necessary. This was an excellent introduction into ethereum development, and I highly recommend!

    I have completed trainings in blockchain technology and as an experienced developer, the Diginomics Certified Ethereum Developer is an organized course that most developer should be able to tackle without much difficulties when picking up a new coding framework.

    The course organizer, Travis and his team have clearly produced some excellent videos to illustrate the essence of Ethereum. Overall the course is easy to follow, straight to the point and provides good practical coding demo. Certainly it would be nice if there are more coding practices on videos as additional supplement to the course.

    I have no hesitation in recommending the course to anyone who wants a deeper theoretical understanding as well as essential practical coding for picking up blockchain expertise at a higher level.

    Thank you again to Travis and his team for a wonderful and practical learning experience on a technology that is going to change the world in the very near future!
